Lately it seems that eyelash extensions have been all the rage and everyone I know has them. I have been dying to try them but then again I already have long lashes so I have been scared to try them and not wanting to ruin my natural lashes in any way.
Since I have long lashes the problem is that they are straight like a pin. I am always curling them with my favorite Eye lash curler but sometimes that is always a hassle and I have lost a few lashes here and there due to curling them like a mad women. I also have even tried every mascara you could think of to help them curl naturally but none have worked. If you have a couple to recommend to me please comment below, I would love to try them all!
So I decided to try a lash perm & tint to see how it would go. Well I love it! My lashes are curled and I don’t have to curl them like I usually do everyday. The perm is supposed to last for 30-45 days and the whole process is about hour and a half.
Here are pictures of the process:
First adhesive is applied on my eyelashes so that they can stay on a silicone rollers, this holds them in the curled position.
Then a perming solution is applied for about 20 minutes.
And lastly, tinting is added to my lashes in order to darken them.
And this is what they look like permed & tinted without mascara.
And that’s it! Overall process wasn’t that long and it did feel weird at first but I had to relax and before I knew it, I wanted to take a nap!
I had to wait 2 days before I could apply mascara to them and I was scared to apply mascara after but now I do because I like them to look darker and they are still permed. I think that is the only thing that I wanted, was for the tinting to be darker but again I do have dark eyelashes so I guess it didn’t really make a difference for me. The perm hasn’t gone away and it has been 3 weeks since I gotten them done. The lady said it should last 30-45 days so I can’t wait to go again and get them done.
I looked it up and you can purchase a kit and do this at home or maybe have a friend do this for you. I would love to have one of my friends do this for me at home. Here is the info on if you would love to try it out:
