Day Tripping in Sayulita

This past weekend we spent a day in Sayulita, Nayarit. We had heard sooo many great things about it and trust me guys, we were NOT disappointed. When I tell you that you need to take a visit, you must!  And then you can come back and tell me that I was right and how much you love it as much as I do.

Sayulita is a small quaint surfer/hippy town that is 45 minutes away from Puerto Vallarta. It was just a small 25 mile drive through the tropical mountains north past Nuevo Vallarta and Punta de Mita.

Sayulita is famous for their surfing beach, so some of the most famous surfers come here from all over the world, shops, restaurants and their many boutique hotels and colorful casitas.

Their beaches are so packed right now since it is high season but I can’t blame anyone, they have one of the nicest beaches here on the bahia de banderas. They are beautiful and ready to be surfed on.

We decided that we definitely need to come back and stay for a weekend to get a little acquainted with the town. I definitely fell in love with it and all the adorable shops.  I told John that I decided that I want to buy everything from every store that they have there!

Top is from Bebe and long gone & I over paid  for it but here is a similar   here  for $10 and my shorts are from Abercrombie & Fitch this a similar pair here for $15

My purse & shoes are from Target. Shoes here  and a similar bag  here
